The Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) was first introduced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak last year. The scheme was extended and will be on offer to help businesses who see a new or continuing impact on their business from November 1, 2020, to January 29, 2021. But is the SEISS grant taxable and how can you apply?

A third national lockdown has now begun in England with officials hoping the restrictions will help to curb rising rates of Covid-19.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the decision had been made in response to the highly transmissible coronavirus variant.
